Outside, peace and tranquillity, the old stones of Barbentane telling their stories as the days go by, and the Montagnette, a massif of pine trees and aromatic herbs.
Inside, the layout of the rooms has the stamp of authenticity, welcoming spaces and fine materials. However, the modern rubs shoulders with the old, and you'll be drawn in by the facilities: everything is brand new, from the kitchen and shower room to the heating, ventilation and skylights.
Everything has been designed to make you feel at home: a real space to live in.
Because we took so much care renovating this house, we're delighted to share the results with you. In these few pages, we'd like you to discover the house that is perhaps just waiting for you.
This very pretty Provencal-style house has undergone a complete interior renovation, and offers a very successful blend of traditional features and modern comforts.
The house faces west. When the sun shines, it bathes the exposed stone façade and the upper floors in beautiful light.
Inside, the original features have been preserved and carefully renovated, so you'll find old wooden floors or beautiful stone paving, beams supporting old-fashioned ceilings, and real stone walls whose joints have been masoned with lime.
All the structural, skylight, electrical and plumbing work was carried out by professionals, and is covered by ten-year insurance and ten-year structural damage insurance.
The roof is original but in good condition. The strategic walls have been insulated. The electrical and plumbing systems are brand new, and the paintwork is still fresh. All the essentials have been taken care of, so you won't have to do a thing, just add your own touch to make it feel like home!

The medieval village of Barbentane is listed as a Remarkable Heritage Site. It is ideally positioned between Arles and Avignon, which you can reach quickly, taking advantage of the proximity of the city, in the peace and quiet of a very popular Provencal village.
The TGV high-speed train station is 10 minutes away.

Ground floor 38 m2 :: living together.
A warm, natural space, the vast ground floor comprises two rooms, joined by a wide opening.
The living room with its Fontvieille stone fireplace offers the option of installing an additional wood-burning stove or insert. There is plenty of storage space, and a RJ45 wall socket for network and TV connections.
The kitchen, semi-open to the living room through a wide opening, is continuous, giving a lovely feeling of space.
The floor has been brought up to date with travertine tiling.
-
First floor :: Parental comfort.
The living room is on the 1st floor. The old beams have been renovated, the walls have retained their carefully restored stonework and the floor tiles with their patina of age exude a timeless atmosphere.
The large parental bedroom, in soft shades of white and brown, is a real cocoon, opening onto a balcony via a French window. The weathered wooden floor has been restored to its former glory.
The bathroom has been fitted with a beautiful walk-in shower. For added originality, the washbasin top was custom-made. Italian porcelain stoneware Ceppo di gré tiles, inspired by the iconic Italian stone, adorn the shower area. The black metal mixer tap enhances the overall look.
-
Second floor :: The world under the roof.
This floor, with its soft tones and clean lines, offers two very pleasant rooms in a row, set in the attic and well lit.
The bedroom under the roof, with its volumes designed by the rampan, is sober with soft tones. The materials used range from white walls to ochre or whitewashed stone walls, with stained beams and natural stone slabs on the floor. The light streaming in through a small window and a skylight exudes a touch of serenity.
The games room / study / dressing room. Following on from the bedroom, this space has white walls and a matt vitrified wooden floor, giving it plenty of space. It has a large floor area of around 18 m2, but is less than 1.80 m high in places. From the games room to the study or dressing room, it's up to you to use your imagination. Some people say it wouldn't be crazy to put a bed here...
The bathroom is small but very functional, with a washbasin and toilet for everyone's comfort.
